My path has been quite different than that of the traditional designer, and it has made my experience all the richer. I’ve studied architecture in my home country of El Salvador. In 2011, I took a long break to become a top international competitor in fencing, representing my country at the Pan-American Games and missing my place in the Olympics by one spot. Afterwards, I resumed my architecture studies and graduated at California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
